Paul’s birth and death dates on the Aztec calendar

Did the Aztecs know something we didn't?

In a previous post, I mentioned that the Aztec calendar is referenced on p128 of Memoirs. This got me wondering what the significance of its presence on that page really was, so I did some digging…

The sacred form of the Aztec calendar worked like two different sized wheels cycling past each other. One wheel has 13 ‘cogs’ representing the numbers 1 to 13 with their associated gods providing the “shadow soul” for that day; the other has 20 ‘cogs’ representing day symbols with their associated gods/elemental forces, which provide the “spirit soul” for that day. One week on this calendar is 13 days. On the 14th day of the year, the 13 ‘cog’ wheel will have gone back to 1, but the 20 ‘cog’ wheel is still only on the 14th day symbol out of 20. Due to this misalignment, it takes 260 days for the wheels to cycle all the way back to the beginning, in order to ‘reset’. This represents one year. This calendar was very important. It was devised as a method to give time for rituals and sacrifices to all the gods equally. 

The precise day of any year is shown by combination of a number (from the 13 ‘cog’ wheel) followed by a day symbol (from the 20 ‘cog’ wheel). According to this Aztec calendar, Paul McCartney’s birthday (18th June 1942) fell on 3-Miquiztli (Death), which is the 6th symbol of the 20 day symbols. It is governed by the Moon God, Tecciztecatl. It is described as “a good day for reflecting on your priorities in life, a bad day for ignoring possibilities. It is a day of transformation, signifying that briefest moment between old endings and new beginnings.” 

It seems that the Aztecs saw Paul’s future coming, whether by luck or some supernatural skill. The only relevance Paul’s life had to the occultist circle was being the representation of Osiris. He was there to be introduced to Horus, in the form of William. Therefore, to them, Paul’s birthday was a day of transformation. For not only was he born, he was also the re-born Osiris. Twenty four years later, Paul’s death and soul transmigration to William, would officially mark the passing from the Aeon of Osiris to the Aeon of Horus; an old ending and a new beginning. The symbol of Miquiztli (Death) being the 6th of the 20 day symbols is also relevant, since in Memoirs we are told that it signifies William, who took Paul’s place when he died.

The Moon God, Tecciztecatl, who governed on the day of Paul’s birth has an interesting story. In the beginning of the current world, the gods gathered at the Teotihuacán and asked “who will be in charge of illuminating the One World?” The previous four Suns and worlds had been ruined. They needed a new Sun to light the New World. (Are alarm bells ringing for you yet, dear reader? Hello, NWO!) The beautiful and wealthy Tecciztecatl volunteered. When the moment arrived to complete the necessary rituals by throwing himself into the sacrificial fire, he became scared. (We are told that Paul also knew he was going to die and was likewise scared.) The gods passed the opportunity to the humble god Nanahuatzin. He went and became the Fifth Sun. (This could parallel with the unknown William losing his old life to become the world famous and wealthy pop star “Paul McCartney”.) Ashamed, Tecciztecatl followed him to become another sun. However, the gods did not need or want two suns, so they threw a rabbit at him to dim his radiance, thus he became the Moon with a rabbit mark on his face. (In Memoirs, we are repeatedly told how much more talented William is over Paul, so any radiance he had is frequently ‘dimmed’.) 

As well as looking at the day of an event, like Paul’s birthday, the Aztecs also considered the trecena (13-day cycle) to be important. The trecena of Paul’s birthday is 1-Cuetzpalin (Lizard). According to the mythology, we are told that: “these 13 days are governed by the meting out of irrational rewards and punishments. These are 13 days of confusion; a time when the noble and ignoble have equal chance to be raised up or thrown down. The warrior must be like the lizard, who is not hurt from a high fall but instead immediately climbs back to its perch. These are good days to keep out of sight; bad days to attract attention.”

Again, we can see the parallels between this mythology and Paul’s life story. On the face of it, he was taken from rags to riches almost overnight, due to the intervening of the dark cabal. Equally, his life was thrown back down when it suited them. 

The trecena of 1-Cuetzpalin (Lizard), is ruled by Itztlacoliuhqui. He is a god of ice, cold, punishment and human misery. He was once Tlahuizcalpantecuhtli, which means “Lord of the Dawn, Venus and the Morning Star”. (There you go, you knew a parallel to Lucifer wouldn’t be far away.) He threw an atlatl dart (which is actually more like a spear) at the newly created Sun, Tonatiuh, but he missed. Tonatiuh threw a dart (or spear) back at Tlahuizcalpantecuhtli and it pierced right through his head. (Paul, of course, likewise had his head split by “Maxwell’s Silver Hammer”.) Tlahuizcalpantecuhtli is “Lord of the Day” for days with the number 9; Paul is associated with the number 9 by William and the occultists. 

Tlahuizcalpantecuhtli was a god of war. He was a manifestation of Quetzalcoatl, the “Feathered Serpent” or “Precious Twin”. Quetzalcoatl is the god of intelligence and self reflection, a patron of priests. He is a primordial god of creation, a giver of life. With his opposite, Tezcatipoca, he created the world. Quetzalcoatl is also called White Tezcatipola, the contrast him to the Black Tezcatipola. As “Lord of the East”, he is associated with the Morning Star; his twin brother, Xolotl was the Evening Star. (Again, this description has quite obvious luciferian overtones to it.)

After the last world, the Fourth Sun was destroyed, Quetzalcoatl went to Mictlan,  the “Land of the Death” with his twin brother, Xolotl. He created our current world and the Fifth Sun, by using his own blood to give new life to old bones. 

This journey to the underworld seems to echo the Egyptian Osiris-Horus story, with the father-son relationship switched for one involving twin brothers. I think the occultists see Paul and William as “cosmic twin brothers”. Perhaps though, the parallel we should see is the one with the Egyptian god, Set. More about this in a moment.

The actual day of Paul’s death (11th September 1966) was 1-Ollin (Movement) on the Aztec calendar. His day is governed by Xolotl, the god of sickness and physical deformity. This day is described as “an auspicious day for the active principle, a bad day for the passive principle. Ollin is a day of the purified heart, signifying those moments where human beings may perceive what they are becoming. A good day for transmutation, which arrives like an earthquake that leaves in its wake the ruins of rationality, order and the preconceived.” 

What can we comment about this, except to agree? It certainly was a good day for those actively involved with Paul’s death and its cover-up. This seemingly audacious task was executed precisely without anyone really noticing. Likewise, it was a very bad day for Paul, who was passively on the receiving end of their actions. On this day, William transmuted into “Paul” and has been ever since. His arrival into the Beatles was like an earthquake, both to his band members and to the rest of the unsuspecting world. 

As we saw earlier, Xolotl, the god that governs the day of 1-Ollin (Movement), is the the twin brother of Quetzalcoatl. He is the Evening Star and Lord of the West. Xolotl is a dog-like deity; just like the Egyptian god Set was a jackal-headed deity. Also like Set, who was in a constant battle cycle with Horus, Xolotl guides the Sun through the underworld each night. 

The trecena (13-day cycle) that started on the day that Paul died is also 1-Ollin (Movement). This trecena is ruled by the goddess Tlazoteotl. She is a goddess of sex and is the eater of sins. She is the scavenger who feeds on the ills that darkened the heart, rather than power. We are told that “these are 13 days of stolen secrets and odd twists of fate. The earth itself shakes; the ills created by shock can sometimes only be cured by greater shock. These are good days for self-purification; bad days for self-gratification.” 

I do not like to judge Paul for his so-called “deal with the devil” but if he did involve himself in such a foolish thing, this trecena, with its goddess of Tlazoteol, seems to have acted like a divine retribution. I always feel sorrow and compassion for Paul, because he was obviously tricked by the dark cabal and he had his life cut tragically short, but there’s no getting away from the reality: there’s no such thing as a free lunch and he should have known that.
